Scientific Resources & Terms
Built for the Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF) Centre, University of Kalyani (supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India), this platform serves as a curated bioinformatics database cataloguing human long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) records with documented associations to human disease, verified from peer-reviewed scientific literature.
Bioinformatics Data Modeling & Genomic Normalization
Engineered a structured, type-safe data schema to catalogue 57 validated human lncRNA entries across 15 chromosomes. Normalized genomic coordinates, sequence metrics (GC content, transcript lengths), molecular binding interactors, and mapped 45 PubMed PMIDs for reproducible literature provenance.
High-Efficiency Static Architecture & Instant Client Querying
Built on Next.js 16 App Router and React 19, implementing zero-runtime-overhead static generation and pre-computed indexes. Developed a lightweight in-memory client query engine providing sub-millisecond filtering across 12 human disease categories and chromosome loci with instant reactivity and zero server roundtrips.
Academic-Grade UX & Zero-Tracking Compliance
Designed a responsive, publication-ready interface using Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion, adhering to strict academic Open Access standards with zero commercial trackers, third-party analytics, or data monetization. Integrated scientific cross-linking to NCBI PubMed, Ensembl, and UniProt for verified citation trails.
